How the Booking Calendar Looks on Your Site
By default, the
[ssa_booking] shortcode displays a list of Appointment Types (if you have more than one) for your customers to choose from.
To limit the Booking Calendar to one specific Appointment Type – go to the bottom of the Appointment Type Settings and copy the shortcode with the slug included.
It should look something like this:
Quickly Book Appointments as the Admin
After installation and activation of the plugin, we also create a default booking page. Find it in Pages > Schedule an Appointment page. Or, www.yoursite.com/appointments.
This page includes only the Booking Calendar – it doesn’t include the header, footer, and/or sidebar for your site. This page also does not have any links back to any other page of your site.
You do not need to use this default booking page. When a theme or layout is too complex to display the Booking Calendar, this will be a reliable way to book.
It’s also a quick way for the site administrator to be able to book appointments without distraction. To quickly access this page go to Admin Appointments page > Appointments tab > click the + Book An Appointment button.
Note: The + Book An Appointment button stops working when the default booking page is trashed or deleted. And, we currently don’t have a way to restore it.
If it’s only trashed, simply take it out and it should work again!
