Simply Schedule Appointments is completely self-hosted on your WordPress website. Like Gravity Forms, SSA is a plugin you upload to your site.

After you install SSA, a new “Appointments” tab will be accessible from your WordPress dashboard.

Your booking calendar settings and appointment data live in your site’s database.

Gravity Forms is a form-building plugin for WordPress. Gravity Forms offers an amazing variety of form-building features that makes them flexible enough to be used in many places on your site. For example, Gravity Forms can be used as booking forms, to collect contact information, allow customers to pay for services, and so much more.

To use Gravity Forms, use the following step-by-step instructions:

  1. Install and Activate the Zip file the for Gravity Forms plugin to your WordPress website.
  2. Add your license key to continue to receive updates to the plugin.
  3. Go to the new Gravity Forms tab and create your first Form by clicking Add New.
  4. Choose from a template or create one from scratch.
  5. Drag and drop the form fields you’d like to include on your form, for example, Name, Email, Appointments.
  6. Save your Form, and Configure the remaining Form Settings such as Notifications, Confirmations, etc.
  7. Embed the Form using their shortcodes or blocks.
