Introduction

In this guide, we’ll explore the Appointments Tab featured on the MemberPress user accounts. This tab is enabled when using the MemberPress booking integration.

This is only available for users who are subscribed to a Membership tied with one or more Appointment Types from Simply Schedule Appointments.


Appointments Tab for Member Dashboards

After setting up a MemberPress membership with one or more Simply Schedule Appointments Appointment Types, users subscribed to the membership will see a new Appointments tab in their Account.

This is where they’ll be able to:

  1. Book Appointments
  2. Learn About their Membership Appointment Limits
  3. See Remaining Bookings
  4. View Past Appointments and Filter Through Them

Membership Appointments Table

The Membership Appointments table will list the Appointment Types or booking calendars tied to a user’s membership. As well as communicate the number of appointments they’re limited to and how many they have left.

  • Membership: The name of the Membership the user is subscribed to
  • Appointment Types: The list of booking calendars the membership is tied to
    • This column also includes their booking limits, such as the number of appointments per week and billing cycle.
  • Upcoming Appointments: The list of upcoming booking dates and times associated with their membership.
    • This column also includes a Book Now button for easy scheduling. This redirects them to the booking calendar for this membership.

Book Now

When using the Book Now button from the Member Dashboard, the user does not leave the Appointments tab. They’re simply redirected to a different view within the tab where they can book their time and date in the corresponding Membership calendar.

After the user is done booking, they can click the Back to Appointments button to return to the default view of the Appointments tab.


Past Appointments

The Past Appointments area of the Appointments tab includes Filter dropdown menus and a table showing a list of past appointments.

Filters

The user can use the Filter dropdown menus to help sift and review their past appointments:

  • Membership: Only show the past appointments for a specific Membership
  • Appointment Type: Only show the past appointments for a specific Appointment Type
  • Date: Only show the past appointments for a specific Date range. Current options include:
    • Past 30 days
    • Past 90 days
    • All Time
  • Status: Only show the past appointments of a certain status. Learn more about booking status.
