Here’s a roundup of what we’ve been working on between January and March.
Updated Timezone Handling
We’ve updated our moment-timezone dependency to keep your time slots accurate across every timezone. This is one of those under-the-hood updates that quietly prevents scheduling headaches – especially if you’re booking across different regions.
MemberPress Security Improvements
If you’re using our MemberPress integration, we’ve added permission checks to the MemberPress API endpoints. This helps make sure that only authorized requests can interact with your membership-based booking data. A small but important layer of protection for your setup.
Improved Lifetime License Status
For our lifetime license holders – the Support page now shows a clearer, more accurate status message for your license. No more second-guessing whether things are active and up to date.
Bug Fixes Galore
A lighter round of fixes this quarter, but still worth noting:
- Fixed an issue where the admin app displayed incorrect numbers for Group capacity appointments
- Addressed security vulnerabilities flagged by WordFence
- PHP compatibility fixes to keep things running smoothly across different hosting environments

WordPress 7.0 is up and coming! We’ve been keeping a close eye on this release throughout Q1, and we’re happy to report that Simply Schedule Appointments is fully compatible.
