Reply-to Field in Email Notifications
A reply-to field can be edited in notifications now, just in case you want to set a reply-to contact for someone else managing appointment responses.
Twig and Google Calendar Quick Connect Improvements
This quarter, we rolled out updates for the twigs used in the plugin – improving how notification templates handle your emails and messages. Along the way, we squashed a few pesky bugs, including an issue with emojis not displaying correctly (because what’s a confirmation email without a smiley face?).
We also gave our Google Calendar Quick Connect integration some extra love. The connection process is even more reliable, and we’ve fixed a few syncing issues. Now your schedule stays accurate and stress-free – exactly how we like it.
Accessibility Updates to Booking App
We’ve continued fine-tuning with a few more accessibility updates. The Express Booking layout now adapts beautifully on mobile screens to ensure users can navigate, select times, and confirm appointments with ease.
We’ve also fixed a visibility issue for certain browsers with dark mode, improving the readability.
Bug fixes galore
We’ve been hard at work tackling bug fixes, tidying up the plugin, and polishing everything to make it more reliable, accessible, and user-friendly. Here’s a quick highlight of what’s been improved on:
- Fix for mobile screens to support Express booking layout
- Improved telephone field component
- Ironed out availability validation for Views and Blackout Dates
- Fix for invalid block error in WordPress editor
- Enforced min height on iframe to prevent cut-off
- Implemented fix for loading spinner in Gravity Forms and Simply Schedule Appointments integration
- Added image size sanitization to preserve emoji sizes in notifications
70,000 Active Installs
We’re so ecstatic to share that Simply Schedule Appointments has officially reached 70,000 active installs! We appreciate each and every single one of you and our fantastic community for where we are today.
