Can I use Simply Schedule Appointments in another language?

Simply Schedule Appointments is translation-ready

Simply Schedule Appointments is translation-ready and we are welcoming translations from contributors through  the WordPress translation system.

We currently have some translations in progress, and the WordPress community provides a Translator Handbook to help new translators get started.

Using translations that are underway

If you’d like to use the translations that are underway but not yet complete, here is how you can do that:

1. Go to the page for the translation you’d like to use

From the main translation page for Simply Schedule Appointments, click on the partial translation that you’d like to use. In this example, we’ll be using the French (France) translation.

Click on the row of the table that contains the translation you’d like to use.

2. Select the Stable (latest release) set

Still in the export area, select Machine Object Message Catalog (.mo) as the format, and click the Export link again.

5. Upload the files to your site

Upload both files to the following location of your website:

wp-content/languages/plugins/

You’ll need to create that directory path if it doesn’t exist.

6. Update your site’s language (if necessary)

In the WordPress General Settings (Settings > General Settings), set the language for your site to match the language of the language files you’ve just downloaded:

Set the language for your site

As long as the language in the site settings and the .mo/.pot files you donwloaded match, WordPress should pick up and display those translations automatically.
